As a fellow introvert, I am firmly of the belief that we should not subject ourselves to social situations unless we want to be there. Unless you’ve made some kind of specific commitment like being a member of a wedding (shudder), your presence should always be optional.

My version of COVID is that I had a stroke at the beginning of the month. I should be able to coast on that for a very long time.
